Removal [09/2014 - 11/2017]: Procedure

PRECAUTION
NOTE:
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

CHANGE POWER TILT AND POWER TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN SYSTEM SETTINGS (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - 08/2016] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2016 - 11/2017]
REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9
DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10
REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11
REMOVE METER HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14
REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30

REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET

Remove the 2 bolts.

Pull the multi-display assembly with bracket as shown in the illustration to disengage the 4 clips.

Disconnect each connector.

REMOVE NO. 1 MULTI-DISPLAY BRACKET

Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 multi-display bracket.
