Installation [09/2014 - 03/2019]: Procedure

INSTALL BRACKET
1. Install the bracket to the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly with the 2 screws.
INSTALL ROLL RATE AND VERTICAL ACCELERATION SENSOR
1. Install the roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 9.0 N.m (92 kgf/cm, 80 in.lbf)
  NOTE:
  - Do not drop the roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor.
  - If the roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor is dropped, replace it with a new one.
2. Connect the connector to the roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor.
  NOTE:
  Make sure that the roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor connector is connected securely.
3. Engage the 2 wire harness clamps to the bracket.
  NOTE:
  Do not twist the wire harness when installing it.
INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

PERFORM YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR AND ROLL RATE AND VERTICAL ACCELERATION SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
