Installation [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the engine oil pressure switch assembly.

   Adhesive

   Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent

   NOTE:

   • Do not apply adhesive to the oil inlet port of the engine oil pressure switch assembly.
   • Install the engine oil pressure switch assembly within 3 minutes of applying adhesive.

2. Using SST, install the engine oil pressure switch assembly.
   • SST: 09922-10010 

   Specified tightening torque 

   Torque: 15 N.m (153 kgf/cm, 11 ft.lbf) 

   NOTE:

   Do not start the engine within 1 hour of installation.

   *a	Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length

   HINT: 

   • Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.

     Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to PRECAUTION [11/2017 - ]

   • When using SST (fulcrum length of 155 mm (6.1 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 180 mm (7.09 in.)): 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
3. Connect the engine oil pressure switch assembly connector.
