Removal [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - 08/2016] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2016 - 11/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2017 - 03/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [03/2019 - 01/2023] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [01/2023 - 10/2023] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - 03/2019] , or refer to REMOVAL [03/2019 - ]

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [11/2017 - 01/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29 [01/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR 
    1. Disengage the wire harness clamp from the yaw rate sensor bracket.

    2. Disconnect the connector from the yaw rate sensor.
    3. Remove the 2 nuts and yaw rate sensor.
      NOTE:
      • Do not drop the yaw rate sensor.
      • If the yaw rate sensor is dropped, replace it with a new one.
  5. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR BRACKET 
    1. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps from the yaw rate sensor bracket.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts.
    3. Disengage the 2 claws of the floor carpet, and remove the yaw rate sensor bracket.

      HINT: 

      Remove the yaw rate sensor bracket while avoiding the wire harness.
