Inspection [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Shift Paddle Switch (Transmission Shift Switch Assembly) LH)

      Standard Resistance

      SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY) LH:

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      2 (ECC) - 1 (SDN) "-" continuously pulled Below 2.5 Ω
      Released 1 MΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the shift paddle switch (transmission shift switch assembly) LH.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY) RH:

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3 (SUP) - 2 (ECC) "+" continuously pulled Below 2.5 Ω
      Released 1 MΩ or higher

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Shift Paddle Switch (Transmission Shift Switch Assembly) RH)

      If the result is not as specified, replace the shift paddle switch (transmission shift switch assembly) RH.
