Inspection [10/2018 - ]: Procedure

INSPECT VSC OFF SWITCH

Check the resistance.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

*a	Component without harness connected (VSC OFF Switch)

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
2 (+) - 7 (E)	Switch pushed	Below 1 Ω
2 (+) - 7 (E)	Switch not pushed	10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the VSC OFF switch.

Check the illumination.

Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the VSC OFF switch.

Condition	Specified Condition
Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 1 (ILL+) Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 8 (ILL-)	Illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the VSC OFF switch.
