Removal [12/2021 - ]: Procedure

PRECAUTION

NOTE:

After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to REMOVAL [12/2021 - ]
REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY LH WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

REMOVE ECM

Detach the 2 wire connector clamps.
Push in the locks on the 3 levers, raise the 3levers, and disconnect the 3 ECM connectors.
NOTE:
After disconnecting the ECM connectors, make sure that dirt, water and other foreign matter does not contact the connecting parts of the ECM connectors.
Detach the 3 wire harness clamps.
Remove the 3 bolts and ECM.
NOTE:
If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.
