  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE

  3. DISCONNECT NO. 4 WATER BY-PASS PIPE

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 1 VENTILATION PRESSURE SENSOR HOSE

  5. DISCONNECT PURGE VSV (DUTY VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE)

  6. REMOVE BRACKET

      *a for Small-head bolt - -
  7. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

      *A for Bank 1 *B for Bank 2
      1. Disconnect the 6 ignition coil assembly connectors.
      2. Remove the 6 bolts and 6 ignition coil assemblies.
        NOTE:

        If a ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  8. REMOVE SPARK PLUG 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
