On-Vehicle Inspection [11/2021 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT NO. 2 TURBO PRESSURE SENSOR
- Check the terminal voltage.
- Disconnect the No. 2 turbo pressure sensor connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B72-3 (VC) - B72-2 (E2) Ignition switch ON 4.5 to 5.5 V B72-1 (PTA) - B72-2 (E2) 3.0 to 5.5 V If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

(to No. 2 Turbo Pressure Sensor)
- Check the turbo pressure.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- According to the display on the GTS read the Data List.
Powertrain > Engine > Data List
Tester Display Boost Pressure Sensor OK
The value is approximately equal to atmospheric pressure.
HINT:
- Standard atmospheric pressure is approximately 101 kPa (abs) (15 psi (abs)).
- For every 100 m (328 ft) increase in altitude, atmospheric pressure drops by approximately 1 kPa (0.15 psi). This varies by weather.
- Check the terminal voltage.
