REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL PAD

Detach the 4 claws to remove the accelerator pedal pad.

REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL

Remove the 2 bolts and accelerator pedal.

REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL(W/SENSOR) ROD ASSEMBLY

NOTE:

Avoid excessive force to the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.
Do not disassemble the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.
This accelerator pedal does not require lubrication.
Do not apply oil or lubricant to the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.

If applied, the accelerator pedal sensor assembly must be replaced.

Disconnect the accelerator pedal sensor assembly connector.

Remove the 3 nuts and accelerator pedal sensor assembly.
NOTE:
- Do not drop the accelerator pedal sensor assembly, strike it with tools or subject it to impact.
- If the accelerator pedal sensor assembly is subjected to an impact, replace it with a new one.
