Removal [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

PRECAUTION
NOTE:
After the power switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [10/2023 - ]
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]
REMOVE RADIATOR COVER PLATE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

REMOVE ECM

Push in the locks on the 2 levers, raise the 2 levers, and disconnect the 2 ECM connectors.

	Push

NOTE:

After disconnecting the connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter does not contact the connecting part of the connectors.

Remove the 2 nuts and ECM.

NOTE:

If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.

REMOVE NO. 1 ECM BRACKET

Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 ECM bracket from the ECM.

NOTE:

If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.

REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET

Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 ECM bracket from the ECM.
