Freeze Frame Data [08/2020 - ]

  1. FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    1. When a DTC is stored, the 4WD ECU assembly stores the current vehicle state as Freeze Frame Data.

      HINT: 

      Freeze Frame Data at the time a DTC is stored:

      • When the 4WD ECU assembly stores data at the time a DTC is stored, no updates will be performed until the data is cleared.
      • "Number of IG ON" is not stored as Freeze Frame Data.
  2. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Four Wheel Drive / Trouble Codes.

      Chassis > Four Wheel Drive > Trouble Codes 

    5. According to the display on the Techstream, select the trouble code data display with Freeze Frame Data.

      Max.: 326 km/h (202 mph)      		 0 km/h (0 mph): Vehicle stopped No large fluctuations when driving at a constant speed.
      RR Wheel Speed Rear wheel speed sensor RH reading Min.: 0 km/h (0 mph)
      Max.: 326 km/h (202 mph)      		 0 km/h (0 mph): Vehicle stopped No large fluctuations when driving at a constant speed.
      RL Wheel Speed Rear wheel speed sensor LH reading Min.: 0 km/h (0 mph)
      Max.: 326 km/h (202 mph)      		 0 km/h (0 mph): Vehicle stopped No large fluctuations when driving at a constant speed.
      Accelerator Opening Angle % Accelerator pedal depression amount Min.: 0.0%
      Max.: 127.0%      		 0.0%: When the accelerator pedal is released Changes in proportion to the movement of the pedal during accelerator pedal operation.

  3. CLEAR FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    NOTE:

    Clearing the DTCs will also clear the Freeze Frame Data.

    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Clear the DTCs and Freeze Frame Data (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2020 - ] ).
