Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [03/2024 - ] - DISCONNECT NO. 2 EARTH WIRE

- REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE COVER

- REMOVE CAM TIMING CONTROL MOTOR WITH EDU ASSEMBLY NOTE:
If the cam timing control motor with EDU assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- REMOVE CAM TIMING CONTROL MOTOR O-RING
