On-Vehicle Inspection [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ] 

1. Check the stroke of the plunger in the center of the intake camshaft timing gear bolt assembly.

   Standard Stroke

   2.2 mm (0.0866 in.) or more

   If the result is not as specified, replace the intake camshaft timing gear bolt assembly.

   Standard Stroke

   2.2 mm (0.0866 in.) or more

   If the result is not as specified, replace the exhaust camshaft timing gear bolt assembly.
