Removal [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [09/2014 - 05/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [05/2018 - 03/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [03/2019 - ]

  2. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [09/2014 - 05/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [05/2018 - 03/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [03/2019 - ]

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [09/2014 - 05/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [05/2018 - 03/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [03/2019 - ]

  4. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION MEMBER PROTECTOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [09/2014 - 05/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [05/2018 - 03/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [03/2019 - ]

  5. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    See step  1 [09/2014 - 10/2015], or see step  1 [10/2015 - 11/2021], or see step  1 [11/2021 - ]

  6. SEPARATE OIL COOLER TUBE 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and separate the oil cooler tube.

  7. REMOVE CRANK POSITION SENSOR BRACKET 
    1. Disengage the clamp.

    2. Remove the bolt and crank position sensor bracket.
  8. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine oil level sensor connector.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts.

    3. Rotate the engine oil level sensor 180° counterclockwise and remove it from the oil pan sub-assembly.

    4. Cut off the gasket as shown in the illustration.

      *a Cutting Position
      *b Supply Part
    5. Remove the gasket from the engine oil level sensor.

      HINT: 

      After cutting off the portions of the gasket shown in the illustration, remove only the outer part of the gasket.
