Inspection of Output Voltage
1. Disconnect the PCM connection
2. Connect the SST to the PCM as shown and connect a vacuum pump to the EGR valve.
3. Turn the ignition switch ON.




4. Measure voltage at the terminals as shown in the table.

5. If not correct at 27 terminals, check the wiring harness and 26 terminals of the PCM.




Inspection of Resistance
1. Disconnect the EGR valve position sensor connector, and connector an ohmmeter.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the EGR valve, and connect a vacuum pump.




3. Measure the resistance between the terminals as shown while vacuum is applied.
