Glow Plug Control Unit
- To test pre-glow operation, connect test lamp to Blue wire of control unit (harness connector plugged in). Turn ignition on and measure amount of time test lamp is lighted. See PRE-GLOW TEST SPECIFICATIONS table.PRE-GLOW TEST SPECIFICATIONS

Measure amount of time that test lamp is lit when ignition switch is turned from "START" or "OFF" to "ON" position. See AFTER-GLOW TEST SPECIFICATIONS table. Test lamp will be on continuously with ignition switch in "START" position.
- Test lamp will turn off during after-glow operation when glow plug voltage reaches 7 volts. Replace glow plug control unit if defective.
- To test glow indicator, connect a test lamp between "Orange" and "White" wires leading to grow control unit. Lamp should remain lit for approximately .5-6 seconds.
