Fuel Pressure Regulator Solenoid

See appropriate FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR SOLENOID diagnostic chart. Remove vacuum lines and electrical connector from solenoid. Remove solenoid from vehicle. Connect hand-held vacuum pump to middle vacuum port of solenoid. Apply battery voltage to solenoid. Ensure correct polarity is used or damage to solenoid may result. Apply vacuum. As battery voltage is applied and removed from solenoid, vacuum should alternately bleed from remaining 2 ports. Solenoid resistance should be 30-40 ohms.
