System Testing: Stanza

  1. If vehicle is not equipped with A/C, warm engine to operating temperature. Cooling fan should come on. If vehicle is equipped with A/C, engage A/C clutch using A/C switch in passenger compartment. Condenser cooling fan should operate at low speed.
  2. Stop engine and turn A/C off (if equipped). Disconnect coolant temperature sensor. Start engine. Both cooling fans should run at high speed. If cooling fans do not function as described, check power supplies, grounds, relays, radiator fan switches and motors. If no faults are found, check component wiring. See Figure .
