Removal & Installation

Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE under FUEL SYSTEM. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove maintenance access cover. On models without a maintenance access cover, remove fuel tank. Disconnect fuel lines and wiring harness connector. Remove fuel pump mounting bolts. Remove fuel pump from fuel tank. To install, reverse removal procedure.
