Closed Throttle Position Switch Test

Check continuity between specified wire terminals of switch connector. See CLOSED THROTTLE POSITION SWITCH TEST table. There should be continuity with throttle valve fully closed, and no continuity with throttle valve off idle position. If continuity is not as specified, adjust switch. See SPECIFICATIONS article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. If switch is adjusted properly, replace switch.
