Check Component

Measure resistance of EGR temperature sensor. Inspect EGR and canister control solenoid valve. See SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. Replace EGR and canister control solenoid valve and/or EGR temperature sensor if necessary and perform FINAL CHECK  . If components are okay, repair ECM pin terminals and/or connector terminals.
