DTC P0600: A/T Control: Procedure

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect ECM and TCM harness connectors. See Figure and Fig 1 . Check continuity of the following:
    • Yellow/Black wire between TCM harness connector terminal No. 5 and ECM harness connector terminal No. 24.
    • Yellow/Green wire between TCM harness connector terminal No. 6 and ECM harness connector terminal No. 29.
    • Yellow/Red wire between TCM harness connector terminal No. 7 and ECM harness connector terminal No.30.

    See Figure and Fig 2 . Also check circuits for short to ground and short to voltage. Repair circuit(s) as necessary and retest system. If circuits are okay, go to next step.

  2. No problem is indicated at this time. Problem may be intermittent. See INTERMITTENTS in TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES article.
