Master Cylinder: Removal

Disconnect electrical wiring harness at master cylinder reservoir and pressure sensor (model with Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) system). Connect a vinyl tube to air bleeder valve. Drain brake fluid from each air bleeder valve, depressing brake pedal to empty fluid from master cylinder. Remove brakeline flare nuts and plug brakelines at master cylinder. Remove master cylinder mounting nuts, and remove master cylinder assembly from vehicle.
