Test C: Long Stopping Distance

NOTE: On vehicles with ABS, stopping distance may be longer than vehicles without ABS when road conditions are slippery.

Disconnect ABS solenoid valve relay harness connector. Road test vehicle. Check brake operation and stopping distance. If stopping distance is okay, perform PRELIMINARY CHECKS under TROUBLE SHOOTING. If any problems are found during preliminary check, repair as necessary and retest. If no problems are found, bleed brakes and retest. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM and SELF-DIAGNOSTICS .
