Oxygen Sensor

HO2S HEATER RESISTANCE

Application (1) Ohms @ 77°F (25°C)
Front & Rear HO2S Heater 2.3-4.3
(1) Measure resistance between appropriate HO2S terminals. For complete HO2S testing, see appropriate DTC test in appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article.
HO2S OPERATING RANGE VOLTAGE

Application Lean Volts Rich Volts
Front HO2S (1) 0.0-0.3 0.6-1.0
Rear HO2S
Frontier 3.3L, I35, Maxima, Pathfinder, Quest, QX4 & Xterra 3.3L (2) 0.0-0.3 0.6-1.0
Altima, Frontier 2.4L, Sentra & Xterra 2.4L (3) 0.0-0.3 0.6-1.0
(1) Engine at normal operating temperature. Maintain engine speed at 2000 RPM.
(2) Revving engine from idle up to 2000 RPM.
(3) Revving engine from idle up to 3000 RPM.
