DTC Confirmation Test

NOTE: If DTC confirmation test has been previously performed, always turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds before performing next DTC confirmation test.
NOTE: Before proceeding, ensure battery voltage is more than 10 volts at idle.
  1. Turn ignition on.
  2. Select DATA MONITOR mode with Scan Tool.
  3. Turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds.
  4. Turn ignition on. If first DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
