Idle Air Control Valve-Fast Idle Control Device Solenoid Valve

Remove IACV-FICD solenoid valve. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Using jumper wires, apply battery voltage to IACV-FICD solenoid terminals. On Quest, see Fig 1. On all models, IACV-FICD solenoid should click. Inspect IACV-FICD solenoid plunger for sticking. Also check for broken spring. Replace IACV-FICD solenoid, if operation is not as specified.
