DATA MONITOR MODE DESCRIPTIONS

Monitored Item Description
ENG SPEED [RPM] Indicates Engine Speed Computed From Crankshaft Position Sensor (POS) & Camshaft Position Sensor (PHASE) Signal, Accuracy Becomes Poor If Engine Speed Drops Below Idle RPM, If Signal Is Interrupted While Engine Is Running, An Abnormal Value May Be Indicated
MAS A/F SE-B1 [V] Signal Voltage Of Mass Air Flow Sensor Is Displayed, When Engine Is Stopped, A Certain Value Is Indicated
COOLAN TEMP/S [°C] Or [°F] Engine Coolant Temperature (Determined By Signal Voltage Of Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor) Is Displayed, When Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Is Open Or Short-Circuited, ECM Enters Fail-Safe Mode, Engine Coolant Temperature Determined By ECM Is Displayed
H02S1 (B1) Or (B2) [V] Signal Voltage Of HO2S1 Is Displayed
H02S2 (B1) Or (B2) [V] Signal Voltage Of HO2S2 Is Displayed
H02S1 MNTR (B1) Or (B2) [RICH/LEAN] Display Of HO2S1 Signal During Air-Fuel Ratio Feedback Control: RICH - Means Mixture Became "Rich", & Control Is Being Affected Toward A Leaner Mixture, LEAN - Means & Mixture Became "Lean", & Control Is Being Affected Toward A Rich Mixture, After Turning "ON" Ignition Switch, RICH Is Displayed Until Air-Fuel Mixture Ratio Feedback Control Begins, When Air-Fuel Ratio Feedback Is Clamped, Value Just Before Clamping Is Displayed Continuously.
H02S2 MNTR (B1) Or (B2) [RICH/LEAN] Display Of HO2S2 Signal: RICH - Means Amount Of Oxygen After Three Way Catalyst Is Relatively Small, LEAN - Means Amount Of Oxygen After Three Way Catalyst Is Relatively Large, When Engine Is Stopped, A Certain Value Is Indicated
VHCL SPEED SE [km/h] or [mph] Vehicle Speed Computed From Vehicle Speed Sensor Signal Sent From Instrument Cluster Is Displayed
BATTERY VOLT [V] Power Supply Voltage Of ECM Is Displayed
ACCEL SEN 1 Or 2 [V] Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Signal Voltage Is Displayed
THRTL SEN 1 Or 2 [V] Throttle Position Sensor Signal Voltage Is Displayed
FUEL T/TMP SE [°C] or [°F] Fuel Temperature Judged From Fuel Tank Temperature Sensor Signal Voltage Is Displayed
INT/A TEMP SE [°C] or [°F] Intake Air Temperature Determined By Signal Voltage Of Intake Air Temperature Sensor Is Indicated
EVAP SYS PRES [V] Signal Voltage Of EVAP Control System Pressure Sensor Is Displayed
ABSOL PRES/SE [V] Signal Voltage Of Absolute Pressure Sensor Is Displayed
FUEL LEVEL SE [V] Signal Voltage Of Fuel Level Sensor Is Displayed
START SIGNAL [ON/OFF] Indicates [ON/OFF] Condition From Starter Signal, After Starting Engine, [OFF] Is Displayed Regardless Of Starter Signal
CLSD THL POS [ON/OFF] Indicates Idle Position [ON/OFF] Computed By ECM According To Throttle Position Sensor Signal
AIR COND SIG [ON/OFF] Indicates [ON/OFF] Condition Of Air Conditioner Switch As Determined By Air Conditioner Signal
P/N POSI SW [ON/OFF] Indicates [ON/OFF] Condition From Park/Neutral Position (PNP) Switch Signal
PW/ST SIGNAL [ON/OFF] [ON/OFF] Condition Of Power Steering Oil Pressure Switch Determined By Power Steering Oil Pressure Signal Is Indicated
LOAD SIGNAL [ON/OFF] Indicates [ON/OFF] Condition From Electrical Load Signal &/Or Lighting Switch, ON - Rear Defogger Is Operating &/Or Lighting Switch Is On, OFF - Rear Defogger Is Not Operating & Lighting Switch Is Not On
IGNITION SW [ON/OFF] Indicates [ON/OFF] Condition From Ignition Switch
BRAKE SW [ON/OFF] Indicates [ON/OFF] Condition From Stop Lamp Switch Signal
INJ PULSE-B1 Or B2 [msec] Indicates Actual Fuel Injection Pulse Width Compensated By ECM According To Input Signals, When Engine Is Stopped, A Certain Computed Value Is Indicated
B/FUEL SCHDL [msec] "Base Fuel Schedule" Indicates Fuel Injection Pulse Width Programmed Into ECM, Prior To Any Learned On Board Correction
IGN TIMING [BTDC] Indicates Ignition Timing Computed By ECM According To Input Signals, When Engine Is Stopped, A Certain Value Is Indicated
PURG VOL C/V [%] Indicates EVAP Canister Purge Volume Control Solenoid Valve Control Value Computed By ECM According To Input Signals, Opening Becomes Larger As Value Increases
A/F ALPHA-B1 Or B2 [%] Mean Value Of Air-Fuel Ratio Feedback Correction Factor Per Cycle Is Indicated, When Engine Is Stopped, A Certain Value Is Indicated, This Data Also Includes Data For Air-Fuel Ratio Learning Control
AIR COND RLY [ON/OFF] Air Conditioner Relay Control Condition (Determined By ECM According To Input Signal) Is Indicated
FUEL PUMP RLY [ON/OFF] Indicates Fuel Pump Relay Control Condition Determined By ECM According To Input Signals
VENT CONT/V [ON/OFF] Control Condition Of EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve (Determined By ECM According To Input Signal) Is Indicated, ON - Closed; OFF - Open
H02S1 HTR (B1) Or (B2) [ON/OFF] Indicates [ON/OFF] Condition Of Heated Oxygen Sensor 1 Heater (Front) Determined By ECM According To Input Signals

MASS AIRFLOW [g m/s] Indicates Mass Airflow Computed By ECM According To Signal Voltage Of Mass Airflow Sensor
INT/V TIM (B1) Or (B2) [°CA] Indicates [°CA] Of Intake Camshaft Advanced Angle
INT/V SOL (B1) Or (B2) [%] Control Condition Of Intake Valve Timing Control Solenoid Valve (Determined By ECM According To Input Signals) Is Indicated, ON - Intake Valve Timing Control Is Operating. OFF - Intake Valve Timing Control Is Not Operating
TRVL AFTER MIL [km] or [Mile] Distance Traveled While MIL Is Activated
VIAS S/V [ON/OFF] Control Condition Of VIAS Control Solenoid Valve (Determined By ECM According To Input Signals) Is Indicated, ON - VIAS Control Solenoid Valve Is Operating, OFF - VIAS Control Solenoid Valve Is Not Operating
IDL A/V LEAN Display Condition Of Idle Air Volume Learning, YET - Idle Air Volume Learning Has Not Been Performed Yet, CMPLT - Idle Air Volume Learning Has Already Been Performed Successfully, INCMP - Idle Air Volume Learning Has Not Been Performed Successfully
ENGINE MOUNT [IDLE/TRVL] Control Condition Of Electronic Controlled Engine Mount (Computed By ECM According To Input Signals) Is Indicated, IDLE - Idle Condition; TRVL - Driving Condition
COOLING FAN [HI/LOW/OFF] Indicates Control Condition Of Cooling Fan (Determined By ECM According To Input Signal), HI - High Speed Operation; LOW - Low Speed Operation; OFF - Stop
THRTL RELAY [ON/OFF] Indicates Throttle Control Motor Relay Control Condition Determined By ECM According To Input Signals
AC PRESS SEN [V] Signal Voltage From Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Is Displayed

LO SPEED CUT [NON/CUT] Indicates Vehicle Cruise Condition, NON - Vehicle Speed Is Maintained At ASCD Set Speed; CUT - Vehicle Speed Decreased To Excessively Low Compared With ASCD Set Speed, & ASCD Operation Is Cut Off
AT OD MONITOR [ON/OFF] Indicates [ON/OFF] Condition Of A/T OD According To Input Signal From TCM
