Check Power Supply And Ground Circuit

  1. CHECK FUSES OR FUSIBLE LINK 
    • Check for blown-out fuses or fusible link.
    POWER SOURCE UNIT SPECIFICATION

    BCM Battery f
    Ignition switch ON or START position 59
    IPDM E/R Battery 34

    53

    Refer to , "WIRING DIAGRAM --- AUTO/L ---  ".

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: GO TO 2.
    2. NG: If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate cause of malfunction before installing new fuse. Refer to POWER DISTRIBUTION .
  2. POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
    1. Disconnect BCM connector.
    2. Check voltage between BCM harness connector and ground.
    TERMINALS CONDITION SPECIFICATION

    Terminals Ignition switch position
    (+) (-) OFF ACC ON
    Connector Terminal (Wire color)
    M18 38 (W/L) Ground 0 V 0 V Battery voltage
    M20 70 (W/B) Battery voltage Battery voltage Battery voltage

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: GO TO 3.
    2. NG: Check harness for open between BCM and fuse.

  3. CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT 

    Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

    TERMINALS CONDITION SPECIFICATION

    Terminals Continuity
    (+) (-)
    Connector Terminal (Wire color)
    M20 67 (B) Ground Yes

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: INSPECTION END.
    2. NG: Check ground circuit harness.
