Parking Brake Shoes

- Use a deep well socket to rotate the self locking nut to loosen the cable sufficiently. Then, after returning the pedal completely, adjust the clearance of the rear shoes.
- Remove the rear wheels.
- Using a wheel nut, fix the disc to the hub to prevent it from tilting.
- Remove adjuster hole plug. Use flat blade screwdriver to turn down adjuster wheel until brake is locked. Back off adjuster wheel 5-6 clicks. Ensure parking brake shoes do not drag on drum when disc is rotated. Install adjuster hole plug.
