DTC Confirmation Test

NOTE: If DTC confirmation test has been previously performed, always turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds before performing next DTC confirmation test.
  1. Turn ignition on and wait at least 2 seconds.
  2. Select DATA MONITOR with Scan Tool.
  3. Start engine and allow to idle for 5 seconds.
  4. If DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE
