PROBLEM SYMPTOM TABLE - TRIPLE METERS

Trouble phenomenon Possible cause
Speed indication is not displayed properly. Refer to "Vehicle Speed Signal Inspection ".
Ambient air temperature indication is not displayed properly. (It may take a short time to steady the indication after ignition switch is turned ON.)
NOTE: If the meter is powered up with the ambient sensor disconnected, ambient air temperature display will show "-" even if the sensor is reconnected. In this case, with the sensor connected, disconnect and reconnect the battery, then the correct temperature will be displayed.
Refer to "" in "ATC".
DTE (distance to empty) indication is not displayed properly. Refer to "Fuel Consumption Monitor Signal Inspection ".
Average fuel consumption indication is not displayed properly.
Shift-up indicator setting indication is not displayed properly or shift-up indicator does not operate properly. Refer to "Trip Computer Switch Inspection ".
Average vehicle speed indication is not indicated properly. Replace triple meter.
Trip distance indication is not indicated properly.
Trip time indication is not indicated properly.
Stopwatch indication is not displayed properly.
Indication is malfunction of voltmeter.
Indication is malfunction of oil pressure gauge. Refer to "Oil Pressure Sensor Inspection ".
Trip computer switch is not operate. Refer to "Trip Computer Switch Inspection ".
