Parking Brake Cable

NOTE: After adjustments, ensure there is no drag when parking brake control pedal is being released. Ensure toggle lever returns to stopper when parking brake lever is released.

Operate the pedal 10 or more times with the force of 66 lbs. (30 kg).
Depress the pedal until a deep well socket can be inserted. Insert the socket and rotate the self locking nut to adjust the pedal stroke. See Fig 1
Turn adjuster nut until parking brake pedal stroke is 3-4 notches with the force of 45 lbs. (20.4 kg).
With the pedal completely returned, make sure that there is no drag on the rear brake.
