Power Steering Gear And Linkage: Assembly

Install tie-rod inner sockets, dust boots and outer sockets. Apply locking sealant to inner socket threads.
Tighten outer socket lock nut. Tie-rod length "L": Refer to STEERING GEAR AND LINKAGE .

Measure rack stroke. Rack stroke "S": Refer to STEERING GEAR AND LINKAGE .

Before installing boot, coat the contact surfaces between boot and tie-rod with grease.

Install boot clamps.
- Install large boot clamp using suitable tool and crimp securely.
- Install small boot clamp as shown
