Description & Operation: Inputs: Frontier

With the key switch in the "INSERTED" (key is in ignition key cylinder) position, power is supplied through key switch terminal No. 2, to SECU terminal No. 25.

With left front door open, ground is supplied to SECU terminal No. 1, through left front door switch terminal No. 2, left front door switch terminal No. 3 and body grounds M14 (located behind left kick panel) and M68 (located behind right kick panel).

With right front door open, ground is supplied to SECU terminal No. 2 through right front door switch positive terminal.

With left or right rear door (Crew Cab) open, ground is supplied to SECU terminal No. 3 (with vehicle security system), or to SECU terminal No. 2 (without vehicle security system), through left or right rear door switch positive terminal.

Keyfob signal input is through internal antenna.

The remote keyless entry system controls operation of the power door locks, interior lamp, panic alarm and hazard and horn reminder.
