DTC Confirmation Test

Turn ignition on. Select DATA MONITOR mode with scan tool. Start engine and wait a maximum of 2 minutes. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to appropriate DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE. If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
