Possible Causes

Malfunction is detected when EGR flow is detected under conditions that do not call for EGR. Possible causes are:

• EGRC solenoid valve.
• EGR valve leaking or stuck open.
• EGR temperature sensor.
• EGRC Backpressure Transducer (BPT) valve.
