Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check for Display

- CHECK 1: POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Disconnect display connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between display unit harness connector M38 terminals 2 (L/W), 3 (L/Y) and ground.
- Approx. 9 V
OK or NG
- OK : GO TO 2.
- NG : GO TO 3.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between display and ground as follows.
DISPLAY CONNECTOR GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK CHARTTerminals Ignition switch Continuity (+) (-) Connector Terminal (Wire color) M38 1(B) Ground OFF Yes OK or NG
- OK : INSPECTION END.
- NG : Repair harness.
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
Check voltage between display control unit harness connector M42 terminals 2 (L/W), 4 (L/Y) and ground.
- Approx. 9 V
OK or NG
- OK : GO TO 4.
- NG : Repair harness.
- CHECK HARNESS
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect display control unit connector.
- Check continuity between display control unit harness connector M42 terminals 2 (L/W), 4 (L/Y) and display harness connector M38 terminals 2 (L/W), 3 (L/Y).
- 2-2: Continuity should exist.
- 4-3: Continuity should exist.
- Check continuity between display and ground.

- OK : Replace display control unit.
- NG : Repair harness.
