Vehicle Speed Signal Inspection

CHECK ABS ACTUATOR AND ELECTRIC UNIT (CONTROL UNIT) SELF-DIAGNOSIS
Perform ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) self-diagnosis.
- With traction control but without VDC system, refer to "SELF-DIAGNOSIS ".
- With VDC system, refer to "SELF-DIAGNOSIS ".
OK or NG

OK: GO TO 2.

NG: Perform "Diagnostic Procedure" for displayed DTC.
COMPARE SPEEDOMETER AND DATA MONITOR INDICATIONS
1. Select "METER" on CONSULT-II.
2. Drive the vehicle at different speeds and compare speedometer gauge indication with "SPEED METER" and "SPEED OUTPUT" of "DATA MONITOR". Speedometer and "DATA MONITOR" indications should be close.
OK or NG

OK: Inspection End.

NG: Replace combination meter. Refer to "COMBINATION METER ".
