8. Check Headlamp Input Signal Circuit

- Stop engine.
- Disconnect headlamp battery saver control unit harness connector.
- Disconnect BCM harness connector.
- Disconnect combination meter harness connector.
- Check harness continuity between the following;
headlamp battery saver control unit terminals 2, 8 and combination meter terminal 26,
BCM terminal 5 and combination meter terminal 26.
Refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .
Continuity should exist.
- Also check harness for short to ground and short to power.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 10. CHECK COMBINATION METER .
- NG: GO TO 9.
