Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check for Display Control Unit

- CHECK FUSE
- Make sure the following fuses of the display control unit are not blown.FUSE CHECK CHART
Terminals Power source Fuse No. Connector Terminal (Wire color) M42 1 (Y) Battery power 38 10 (P/B) ACC power 6
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 2.
- NG: If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate case of malfunction before installing new fuse. Refer to "POWER DISTRIBUTION " .
- Make sure the following fuses of the display control unit are not blown.
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
Check voltage between connector terminals and ground as follows.
VOLTAGE CHECK CHARTTerminals Ignition switch position (+) (-) OFF ACC ON Connector Terminal (Wire color) M42 1 (Y) Ground Battery voltage Battery voltage Battery voltage 10 (P/B) 0V Battery voltage Battery voltage OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 3.
- NG: Check harness for open or short between display control unit and fuse.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between the following display control unit and ground.

- OK: INSPECTION END.
- NG: Repair or replace harness.
