DTC Confirmation Procedure

NOTE: If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

WITH CONSULT-II 

  1. Turn ignition switch ON.
  2. Select "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.
  3. Wait at least 10 seconds.
  4. Press CRUISE switch for at least 10 seconds, then release it and wait at least 10 seconds.
  5. Press ACCEL/RES switch for at least 10 seconds, then release it and wait at least 10 seconds.
  6. Press COAST/SET switch for at least 10 seconds, then release it and wait at least 10 seconds.
  7. Press CANCEL switch for at least 10 second, then release it and wait at least 10 seconds.
  8. If trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
