Rear Window Defogger Signal Check

  1. CHECK REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER SWITCH LAMP 

    A/C and AV switch self-diagnosis is executed. Refer to A/C AND AV SWITCH SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION .

    1. Does rear window defogger switch light? 

    OK or NG

    1. OK : GO TO 2.
    2. NG : Replace A/C and AV switch.
  2. CHECK AV COMMUNICATION LINE 

    AV communication line check is executed. Refer to AV COMMUNICATION LINE CHECK .

    1. Is rear window defogger displayed on the display? 

    OK or NG

    1. OK : GO TO 3.
    2. NG : Replace display control unit.
  3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION LINE 

    CAN communication line check is executed. Refer to CAN COMMUNICATION LINE CHECK .

    OK or NG

    1. OK : Check the condition of the harness and the connector.
    2. NG : In addition, it is necessary to check CAN communication line. Refer to CAN COMMUNICATION LINE CHECK .
