AV Communication Line Check

CHECK A/C AND AV SWITCH CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect display unit connector and A/C and AV switch connector.

Check continuity between display unit and A/C and AV switch.

Check continuity between display unit and ground.

OK or NG

OK : GO TO 2.
NG : Replace harness.

CHECK AV COMMUNICATION SIGNAL
1. Connect display unit connector and A/C and AV switch connector.
2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Check the signal between display unit harness connector M39 terminals 11 (L/G), 13 (L/R) and ground with CONSULT-II or oscilloscope.
1. 11 (L/G), 13 (L/R) - Ground : Refer to " TERMINALS AND REFERENCE VALUE FOR DISPLAY UNIT ".
OK or NG
1. OK : Replace A/C and AV switch.
2. NG : Replace display unit.
