Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check for Display Unit

- CHECK FUSE
Check if the following fuses in display are blown.
DISPLAY UNIT FUSE CHARTUnit Power Source Fuse No. Display Battery power 38 Ignition switch ACC or ON 6 Ignition switch ON or START 12 OK or NG
- OK : GO TO 2.
- NG : If fuse is blown be sure to eliminate case of malfunction before installing new fuse. Refer to POWER DISTRIBUTION .
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Disconnect display connector.
- Check voltage between display unit connector and ground.

OK or NG
- OK : GO TO 3.
- NG : Check harness for open or short between display and fuse.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between Display unit harness connector M39 terminal 6 (B) and ground.
- Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
- OK : Inspection end.
- NG : Repair ground harness.
