RGB Screen is Rolling (NAVI Screen)

  1. CHECK HARNESS 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect NAVI control unit connector and display control unit connector.
    3. Check continuity between NAVI control unit and display control unit.
      HARNESS CHECK CHART (1 OF 2)

      Terminals Continuity
      NAVI control unit (+) Display control unit (-)
      Connector Terminal (Wire color) Connector Terminal (Wire color)
      M62 16 (P/L) M43 43 (P/L) Yes
    4. Check continuity between NAVI control unit and ground.
    HARNESS CHECK CHART (2 OF 2)

    Terminals Continuity
    NAVI control unit (+) (-)
    Connector Terminal (Wire color)
    M62 16 (P/L) Ground No

    OK or NG

    1. OK : GO TO 2.
    2. NG : Repair harness or connector.

  2. CHECK RGB SYNCHRONIZING SIGNAL 
    1. Connect NAVI control unit connector and display control unit connector.
    2. Turn ignition switch ON.
    3. Check signal between NAVI control unit connector M43 terminals 16 (P/L) and 14 with CONSULT-II or oscilloscope.
      1. 16 (P/L)-14  : Refer to "TERMINALS AND REFERENCE VALUE FOR NAVI CONTROL UNIT  ".

    OK or NG

    1. OK : Replace display control unit.
    2. NG : Replace NAVI control unit.
