Ignition Coil/Power Transistor Resistance

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2003 Nissan Xterra, 2003 Nissan Sentra, 2003 Nissan Pathfinder, 2003 Nissan Murano, and 2003 Nissan Maxima. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Disconnect ignition coil/power transistor harness connector. Measure resistance between terminals No. 3 (Red wire on Altima, Maxima, Murano, Pathfinder and Sentra 2.5L, Green/White wire on Sentra 1.8L and White/Blue wire on 350Z) and No. 2 (Black wire). If resistance is zero ohms, replace ignition coil/power transistor.
