Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check for Display

CHECK POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT FOR DISPLAY CONTROL UNIT
Check power supply and ground circuit for display control unit. Refer to "POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK FOR DISPLAY CONTROL UNIT ".

OK or NG
1. OK: GO TO 2.
2. NG: Repair malfunctioning portion.
CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between display unit harness connector M38 terminals 2 (IAN), 3 (L/Y) and ground.
  Approx. 9 V

OK or NG
1. OK: GO TO 3.
2. NG: GO TO 4 .

CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between display and ground as follows.

OK or NG

OK: INSPECTION END.
NG: Repair harness.

CHECK HARNESS

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect display connector and display control unit connector.

Check continuity between display harness connector M38 terminals 2 (L/W), 3 (L/Y) and display control unit harness connector M42 terminals 2 (L/W), 4 (L/Y).
