Personal Lamp Control Does Not Operate

CHECK REAR DOOR SWITCH
Select "BCM" on CONSULT-II. With "INT LAMP" data monitor to make sure switch "DOOR SW-RR" and "DOOR SW-RL" turn ON-OFF linked with rear door (RH and LH) operation.

OK or NG
1. OK: GO TO 2.
2. NG: Inspect malfunctioning rear door switch.

CHECK PERSONAL LAMP CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect personal lamp connector.
3. Open rear door.
4. Check continuity between personal lamp harness connector and ground.

OK or NG
1. OK: GO TO 3.
2. NG: Repair harness or connector.

CHECK PERSONAL LAMP INPUT
Check voltage between personal lamp harness connector and ground.

OK or NG
1. OK: Replace personal lamp. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
2. NG: GO TO 4.

CHECK PERSONAL LAMP CIRCUIT
1. Disconnect BCM connector.
2. Check continuity between BCM harness connector M4 terminal 41 (R/B) and personal lamp harness connector.

OK or NG
1. OK: Replace BCM if personal lamp does not work after setting the connector again. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF BCM ".
2. NG: Repair harness or connector.
